Hello Team
I was pretty unhappy with Mandrake (sorry to say this Xeriod) since it didnt have any support for my audio card and I used it without any sounds, which was kind of boring, and no music, which is a pain. But luckily there is a Linux sitro that does support it

and the name is Redhat. So I installed Redhat, and after a while I got impressed by it, and I really like it. Its actually simple, and IMO even more than Mandrake that is consider the most newbie friendly. So now I am happy with my Linux distro, but as in my recently thread I am trying to install the Nvidia video driver, which I completed in Mandrake. My question for Redhat is how to make the boot change to vga console mode which you need to install the driver appropiatelly. Thats my only question for now (more to come)

and I just cant find the option to change the boot mode. Thanks for listening
dan
By the way, I insterted my Millencolin CD, and in seconds a windows came up asking me to choose the correct option for Artist and Album. I must say I got impressed so fast, all in the database, and now it tells me the name of the track and album and Artist. Very nice IMO, liked it
