free works with all windows, 1.1MBdownload
speedfan

also lets you make your fans change speed with temps, as well as check volts etc.

Another vote for Speedfan. I used to use MBM5 until I saw the fan RPM monitoring with Speedfan. If you have adjustable fan speeds, you can adjust them w/ this software as well.

Currently Am Using A K7S5A Pro Board with AMD XP 2400+. I am just in need of a simple and small freeware download for monitoring cpu temp/ speeds/ voltage, and about the fans...i use PSU connected fans...probably wont show on speed fan right?

Truckie

PS: Sandra, can some one post a link and the size in MB?...thanks!

I'll second JohnE's endorsement of MBM 5. I've used it on many different systems and it always works great. Also, many different user options are available - you can make it do just about anything you can imagine.

Whenever I use speedfan it reads off the computer temp as 73C everytime. Never changes. When I first boot the computer in the morning until I turn it off it will read 73C. Anybody have any idea why it does this?

with Speedfan i cant figure out which speed mine is. Its either the Winbond one at 70c or the asus one at 49c. I hope its the 49 one it appears in my tray but im just not sure. Someone please verify this for me?

i use an asus a7n8x, amd 2500+ overclocked to about a 2700+, 512 mb ram.
