help my pc game crash

right i am having a prob my pc game crash,freeze or cloase to desktop so for i can play one game with it not crashing

but bf1942 and others do crash

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2400+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.0GHz
Memory: 768MB RAM
DirectX 9.0b
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600 256DDR ram
NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) Audio

o and it not a heat prob my sys is about 30c and my cpu is about 43c going up and down i have a 400atx power and i thick that all you need to now

plz help doing my head in now

did you update all of your drivers?
patch all of your games?
are you over clocking the system?

what game is working?

well i am not overclocking it

and the olny game that work with out crashing,freezeing,or close to desktop is Conflict Desert Storm II

but all there other game do it like mohaa,bf1942,Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory

and before you say is my be online that crashing it no mohaa singleplay doing it to

i don't now if the cards over heating but there a fan blowing air on ti the card so i don't thick it that

but any help that poeple can give me would be cool
