mATX case?

I have never really any experience w/mATX cases before but was looking for one to fill a limited space.

I was looking at some vert micro's and something just doesn't make sense. Example:

http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=Q2-N

The 5.25 bay is vertical. WTH slotload?? Or do you flip it on it's side to use the 5.25 bay??

Pardon my ignorance, but I thought I'd get some advice before getting one.

Thanks.

GB

The bays are vertical because the case is only about 5.75 wide.
most cases are about 7.00 wide. If you have a PC Club store near
by check them out or www.pc club.com. The case I'm using at the moment, is a CodeGen black & silver. Three 5.25 bays 2 3.5 bays
1 3.5 internal. They do have one smaller.

Most CD drives will work mounted vertically, there are extra little extensions around the CD pocket in the tray that stick out and hold the CD in place while the tray is open.

Thanks for the replies. Didn't know cd drives would work vertically; but then I've never had an occasion that required it.

I'll lay a drive on it's side & see if it works ok.

Hey! it works. I always thought the curled tabs were some kind of containment for "just in case".

Looks like they have a decent selection of micro cases at pc club. Not bad prices.

Thanks
