pc shutdown.....

I HAVE A K7266 PRO AND XP HOME, I HAVE JUST REPLACED THE HARD DRIVE FROM ANOTHER MACHINE WITH XP ON IT.
THE SYSTEM WORKS FINE EXCEPT FOR 2 THINGS.
1.I CAN'T SEE COM PORT 3 AND 2. HOW DO I ENABLE THE PC TO SHUTDOWN AUTOMATICALLY, IT WAS OK BEFORE I PUT THIS OTHER DRIVE IN, SHOULD I HAVE DONE A CLEAN INSTALL?
BY AUTOMATICALLY, I MEAN FROM XP SHUTDOWN THE PC WOULD THEN SWITCH ITSELF OFF

I recommend to do a clean installation since the drivers that may work on another machine, could creat conflicts on this one.

That would be the easiest and the most reliable way to deal with this.
