saving an entire site?

i have a website hosted on geocities. i want to host it on my http server but i dont have all the html and images etc. i need to get all this off of geocities but it would take forever doing it file by file. is there any way i can save my entire site to my pc from geocities?

Why not just use a good FTP client and just queue up all the files you need? I recommend highly recommend FileZilla as your FTP client if you're in a Windows environment. The worst it would seem you would have to do it recreate the folder structure on your hard drive.

It's really easy to use. Here's a link to Filezilla..

If you're running Linux or BSD for your http server, you most likely already have the "wget" command. If not, or you're running windows, you can get it at http://www.gnu.org/software/wget/wget.html

It's an awesome little utility that's designed for mirroring HTTP and FTP sites. I use it when I want to browse a site offline. Or I used to when I was running off of a 56K connection.
