WOW I just installed beta 13 like yesterday!

I will say they added a new feature thats AWESOME

While you're on the page, click . or / and it brings up a little context menu in the lower right.. type what you want, and it instantly searches for it while you're typing.

GREAT if you're a keyboard person

(the feature didn't show up when I installed over Opera 7.11, but it showed up after I completely reinstalled it in a new directory.)

There's a noticable speed difference between Opera and IE for me on dialup. Opera's soo much better than IE. Now I just need to find time to download the big install with java, cause I've had problems getting java working after installing nonjava one over another version with java.

Hmmm I've never had problems with that.

Have you tried uninstalling the original version?

It doesn't uninstall Java so you should be OK.

the one thing I love about Opera is that the java loads and runs soooo much faster than in IE or Netscape. I use GroupWise webmail for stuff at work, and there is an extremely noticable difference.

Yes Opera seems to load everything faster, not just the page and images.

Downloaded and installed. Setup and configured in less than ten minutes (which included browsing through 184 and downloading seven skins).

Opera so kicks.

I have always seen people prasing operas speed, but for me its only marginaly faster than IE, but still not as fast as mozilla. (maybe its just me... I like the browser, very nice interface and stability with exceptional speed. But mozilla is my fav)
