modding Inspiron 5150

First of all Hi! i'm new on TechIMO, so hi everybody! nice to be here

erm... i bought 5150, the laptop is really nice! very fast, i really really don't like how it looks! so i decided to paint it, and add couple of stickers and stuff like that to it

my question are: are car paints good for it? i'm not going to paint it, i get my friend to paint it, who is a car painter, he tells me that i have to use car paints, but do i have use anything else? polishers of something?

can i paint a touchpad? will a light layer of paint screwup touchpad?

where to find stickers such as Bullet Holes, torn metal with electronics inside, vent shades, and stuff like that

Thanks!

painting a laptop isnt a good idea its not as easy as a case. but if your gonna paint use auto paint. dont paint the touchpad and you can find those stickers at any auto parts place.. but i wouldnt attempt to paint a laptop its just too dangerous.

to really paint a laptop you'd have to take it apart, down to just the shell and paint that

I've seen a couple, can't remember the site.

Hey Ph@r@oh, you have that link????

You definitely don't want to paint over the touchpad.
