Does ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT DELL dimmension 4400 COOLING???

Im having a problem w/ my cpu overheating. Need some help by some dell experts.

Have you tried calling Dell? Also, have you opened the case to make sure that the HS and Fan is securly on the CPU?

What kind of symptoms are you getting that lead you to believe that your CPU is overheating?

hey buddy, u better edit that before a mod gets a hold of it.

EDIT: btw, 120 full load isnt that bad for the cpu.....i was running at 134 F for a while....so really ur not doing all that bad.

but yeah...dell does suck


u can hate dell, just dont use the bad 4 letter words.

Might want to read the forum rules before you go posting that sort of language....

As for your problem, the fan in the back of the case is has a Thermal sensor that detects the how hot your Heatsink is. The hotter the faster the fan pulls the air from the heatsink and out the back of your case. You may have a defective fan.
