Is it possible to make a web based ftp you i can have a budd upload hi web site files to my web server with out using a ftp program? Like a file upload for a web page?

You just need a simple HTTP upload script/interface. I use Invision File Manager for this purpose. It is a small PHP scripted interface, plus it is free if you leave the Invision copyright notices intact.
