Here is my new system that I finally built! (got the parts like 2 months ago though!, didn't have time to really complete/build it!)

My Specs:
Antec LanBoy Case w/ Antec TrueBlue 350watt lighted Power Supply
Intel Pentium 4 2.4ghz(533fsb)
768MB of DDR333 Memory
120GB WD 7200RPM SE Hard Drive connected via SerialATA (SATA)
56k Modem
Abit IT7-Max2 Motherboard (Intel 845PE Chipset)-onboard SATA, 5.1, SPDIF, like 8+ usb 2, firewire, LAN, more than i can think right now...... dude, its a loaded board! lol
DVD-ROM Drive
56x CD-RW Drive
Sony 1.44 floppy
Blue Lights-PC Toys (dual)
2x Antec Multicolored case fans (lighted)
ATI Radeon 9000 AIW (tv tuner, VIVO, remote)
USB Wireless LAN
um... I think thats it! lol

right next to my Apple iMac 1ghz 17" SD, and iBook, lol

How can I check on how this system performs? (benchmarks)
Any system builders have any suggestions for me?

you could run 3dmark and aqiamark and of course ths sissoftware sandra benchmarking program

Shoulda gone with DDR 400 and higher Radeon but hey not bad.
As for benchmarks, 3dmark 2001 SE and PC Mark are good tests from MadOnion/Futuremark

thanks for the replies,
I got the ATi Radeon 9000 AIW because it was on sale that time (2 months ago) lol. I don't think I can afford right now to get a new one...yet....
But I installed Windows XP SP1 (OEM CD/License), and it installed DirectX 9! I want to run the 2001 version of 3d marks, but it wants DirectX8... Anyways, the 130+ download from 3dmarks.com demo is d/ling right now...(3dmark03)
i'll post scores soon...
This system cost me around $650 to build... I'll try to post pics soon too

you can still run 3dmark2001 (first or second edition) with directx9!

directx is backwards compatible!

your computer wont post awesome marks with 3dmark03, as your video card does not have directx9 support. 3dmark2001se would be a better test, though im not sure if your card is dx8.1 compatible, and im too lazy to check

*edit* - forgot to mention, nice system! let us know how she posts on the scoreboard!

That's a nice rig, imac. Nothing to sneer at!

How does it compare to the 1Ghz iMac? My roommate has a G4 800 that plays most games better than my XP2100+/R9500Pro!
