Most times when I have a problem like this, I place the motherboard on an old phone book or something similar, padded and insulated. Install one stick of ram, a video card, CPU and heatsink-fan, connect the power supply and monitor and fire it up. No keyboard or drives are necessary. No video and no beeps at this point, and you probably have 1) dead ram, 2) dead CPU or 3) bad motherboard. Testing a non working system with just the bare essentials is important.

You can test the video card in a different system..or use a different video card in this dead system. No.. I did not read your other thread I don't think..but, do you know that the monitor is ok?..

If you can find the clear cmos jumper...do that for a minute..if you cannot find the clear cmos jumper, remove the battery for about 5 minutes..does the same thing...resets the bios to its defaults. Try that and let us know.

You do not need to get into the bios to reset it. Shut down, pull the cable out of the wall socket (no power at all to the PC..important) Then..like I said..locate the clear cmos jumper on the motherboard OR!! pull the battery for 5 minutes. Replace the battery or replace the jumper back to where it was to begin with..reconnect the power to the PC and turn it on..let us know what happens.
