thermaltake aquarius

Hey, I'm a noob when it comes to watercooling (i've just done researching among this forum and others), but I was just wondering if any of you have had experience with Thermaltake's Aquarius kit. Is it any good? It's pretty simple, and temps are somewhat better, but I was just wondering what firsthand experience people have.

I personally don't have experience with the TT Aquarius. I was originally planning to purchase that kit, but I decided to purchase the Corsair HydroCool200 because of the excellent reviews I read about it, decent price for a kit that includes everything except water, an external unit so less things inside the computer, turns on and off with the computer, and didn't need to cut anything for electricity. Here's my review of the Corsair unit. I'm about 99% sure that Monarch still has the best price on it, if you decide to purchase it. Last time I checked Newegg had it for ~$230

Work TT Aquarius A1604

Check out this link for a review of the aquarius:

You can also get one of these kits on ebay for less than $100 new using buy it now. If you like me are on a budget the extra $100 for a better kit might be beyond reach. I am wrestling with whether I am going to get one of these myself. I think it is more appropriate as a replacement for a very noisy heatsink and fan combo, than as a setup for anything more than modest overclocking. The thermal resistance is not particularly low, but in my situation with a cheap and noisy microfin hs and fan I am running at around 45 C so I think this would not be worse?? LOL
I am running an athlon xp 1900 at 2GHz and based on the current heatsink performance I will probably try the aquarius soon.. If I do I will post a follow up here.

I want to get watercooling because I know my system can be pushed some more, and the reason i scaled back primarily was heat.

Most people have been saying that the aquarius is nothing more than a quiet fan, so to speak, and when it actually omes to cooling that it's not worth it. I think I'm just going to save up some more money and get a swiftech kit or dtek or dangerden.

Sounds like a great plan. A place I recommend on getting cooling supplies/accessories for case modding it Jab-tech.com, four orders from them got them the next day they're in NY and shipping time is like overnight with ground for me They only have 1 complete water cooling kit though So that basically ruled them out.
