Finding my ISP

My daughter is attending college and the apartment come with cable connection and the internet works ok. I want to be able to set up her RR account in outlook express but don't know how to find the Mail server she is hooked up to and the lessors won't provide that information. It is private housing so I do not believe it is college server. Is there a utility that I can run to get the providers information????

Welcome to techimo First thing I would do is just tracert a site from the command line. The first or second hop should display the isp or at least their carrier

That worked just fine once I found I had to open a Dos window. I get around but sometimes need a little more info. Thanks, though, it will do what I need.
