Dual boot horror

I had a dual boot Win2K/98 setup. I decided to upgrade 2K to XP and promptly deleted and formatted this partition.

Now my machine will not boot. I thought it would just pick up the 98 install (which was on D but I was wrong.

Is there any way I can get my machine to boot to this OS?

If I install XP on C: can I get this to pick up the 98 install.

Yes! study the setup screen well before you make any choices, you wouldn't want to accidentally install to D:
