Movie Download Websites???

I need your help in finding the best movie etc. download site. I've tried the free ones like WinMx/Kazaa but they are so slow and you're always in a que of 100 to download a movie. I have found a couple sites just cruising around, but don't know if they're for real or not?? It seems a little too good to be true to get a membership for $20/yr and have unlimited access and downloads of all the great movies they're advertizing on their sites. Are these sites for real?? Are there pitfalls in these sites?? Here's a couple I've seen. If you have others, or some good Free!! ones (Cause Free is always Best) can you link me to them. Since the arrival of my new DVD Burner I've had the itch to check out some download sites, but I need the help of the masses to find the best.

Sounds like what your asking might fall into that area.

But on to your question. Sounds to good to be true usually = too good to be true.
Doubt they are real.

JMHO, but why would free movie downloads not = free music downloads = free software downloads etc. etc.????

Maximus, I have removed the links within your first post. TechIMO does not allow linking to piracy sites, regardless if it is software, music, movies, etc. Copyright violation is illegal.

However, you can certainly discuss sites offering free or legal movie downloads. Just as with music, many indepedent artists are now offering online movies as well.

Movie download sites do exist, and many are pay-based. Most will deliver the movies as advertised, but you are seriously playing with fire here.

These sites collect payment, thus they have your personal information. The MPAA has been known to shut down these sites and collect the user data: names, addresses, credit cards, IP addresses, emails, etc.

The MPAA is then armed with enough information to target the site's userbase, thus do not be surprised if you are eventually served with a subpeona for a court trial.
