Finding IP address?

If I am running W2K server is there a way to find out or get a list of IP address that are being used? I am having a conflict.

Start > Run > command

Type in 'ipconfig /all' without the quotes, hit enter

If I misunderstood you, I'm sorry...

HTH,

David

Well that gave me the server IP address but I need the IP address on the entire network. Can I get that?

Is the W2K server acting as a DHCP server? How are you assigning ip's to the machines on the network?

When ever I put on a new node I assign it then at the node. I set up the machine and give it a IP address.

oh almost forgot try http://www.tucows.com/preview/195082.html (ping scanner pro) all you do is put in the starting IP for the scan and an eding ip and let it rip ( has alot more features than that but it will do what you want)

i.e. 192.168.1.0 and an ending address 192.168.1.255 if all the boxes use IP's in the range of 192.168.1.xxx

(oops shoulda done an edit)

So you assign static IP's to each pc manually, correct? What is the exact message you get about the conflict? How many pc's are on your network? And have you considered using DHCP?
