Kids gigabyte radeon 9200 vivo TV out problem

HI,
I have a gigabyte radeon 9200 vivo card and am unable to get the TV out option to work. I have the latest drivers & bios.
As instructed, I have my TV connected (via the s-vid to composite adapter) to the card before turning on the computer, however only my main monitor is shown as being connected under the ATI display properties in xp.
Can anyone offer any suggestions?
THanks

did you click the "extend my destop to this monitor" in the settings tab?

Right click the wallpaper, click properties, settings tab: should show two monitors.

Open the popup menu to monitor 2, click "Extend" the apply.

If two monitors are not shown, you might need to install the DVI drivers from the cd that came with the card.

yes, but when I check the "extend my desktop" option, it unchecks itself when I click "apply".

Check in the advanced properties for whether the TV set has been detected at all. Some don't have the electrical properties of the connection quite correct, and thus go undetected. ATi's latest drivers have a "force TV detection" switch right there to work around this problem.

The TV has not been detected at all.
I don't seem to have a "force TV detection switch" even though I have downloaded the latest drivers from the gigabyte site.
Should I be using drivers downloaded from elsewhere?
Thanks kindly.

I am having the same problem. my tv isn't detected and then when i force detection the screen shows on the tv for a minute all grabled and flickering then blanks out. i adjusted the flicker removal and it didn't help. i even exchanged the card for a new one and that didn't work. tech support seriously isn't helping me either.
