damn popups

i keep getting these popups and ive run adware but that dosnt get rid of them. if anyone could tell me how to get rid of them i would appreciate it

Run adaware, Spybot, and get a browser like mozilla or Opera or Avantbrowser.

Make sure before you run the scans, to update the definitions.

Define "popups"

Are they messenger popups?
Popups will happen on the internet.. they're common..
If you're on some pretty shady pages you'll probably get LOTS of them.

We need more info.

Also try an alternative browser, IE is pathetic

If you're going to a page like google and getting a popup

1. Make sure the reference files for adaware are UPDATED
2. if that doesn't work try Spybot

they want me to go to there web site. they pop up when i boot up or login on another account. its not when im surfing.

sounds like messenger pop-ups

go to control panel --> administrative tools --> services --> and disable messenger service.
