Use drivercleaner 2.0 to clean out all old files and then get the new drivers from www.omegacorner.com

Easy to fix.
Start>Control panel>add remove programs.

Remove any with ATI name.
Reboot when both ATI control panel and ATI driver has been removed. Now install new drivers again. Your supposed to uninstall old drivers-reboot with standard windows ones-install new drivers. Thats the method ati says is right. Never failed me yet.

Glad to help. Understand the "on the road" deal too. I used to be home two weeks per every 2 months! LOL-right out of high school too. Parents were like out of school ='s get a job- I was like later, living on the road for while. Took a construction job if that explains it. My first full time job and I was making more $ then my dad. Later I became HIS boss when he joined the team. LOL. That was akward. So was being 18 and in charge of folks 3x older than you.

The omega's are tweaked drivers written by individuals not ati. They are aimed at one of two areas. PURE speed or PURE image quality. For all around general ease of use and dx compliance I always go ATI drivers personally. BUT thats just my opinion. We'll wait for ya to reply.
