Gaming Problem reading Floppy Disk from mac to windows

Hi, I have a serious problem that I have been unable to fix.
In my class, all of our macs run on a freaking OS 9.2 while everyones' comp at home runs on a PC and most with OS XP.

Most of us, including myself who is running XP, could not get our files, which was saved at home, to be recognized on any of the macs' external floppy drives. Also, files such as pictures and word documents that were saved from macs os 9.2 could be recognized on comp at home even with the use of MACDRIVE 5.0.12

I am in high school journalism class, and with this problem, we are sure to get screwed sooner or later.

Please help.

I not an expert on this but make sure that the floppies that you use at schools on the macs are formatted for windows ( you can choose this when formatting a floppy on a mac. If you are using NTFS on the windows machines with xp make sure you for mat the disk with a FAT file system and not ntfs. Ken
