Can't install XP!!
when i boot to the cdrom to try and install windows, it just randomly restarts itself! sometimes when its loading, other times i get as far as formatting or copying files, but it just randomly restarts itself.

any ideas??

Hmm, is the CD good?
If it is I would check the RAM. Run Memtest86

Best to try to load it with "fail safe" defaults, probably 100 MHZ FSB, and one stick of Ram. And check the CD for dirt or fingerprints. just in case.
