Network Printer refuses to work

I just don't get this.When I use Samba it finds the printer.I put all the information in and it says everythings fine.When I try to test the printer nothing happens.It prints to a file.I know it's a network thing.I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.When I browse the network it finds all the computers and folders that are shared.I can even open them up.So why can't I use the printer?This is becoming very annoying.

I moved the printer to the Linux box and now am able to access it with all computers.Just goes to show you how Mirosoft has to complicate everything.I tried for three days to get the printer to work through Windows and no luck.It took about 2 minutes to install and configure on Linux and was able to share the printer with Windows in 1 min.After reboots.Also,printer prints faster and has better resolution.Windows has been replaced for me now.All I will use it for are games and Front Page for my web site until I ever learn html.Which will never happen.So if you know of a good wysiwyg to replace Front Page let me know.

Well if you ever want to code bluefish is a great app, you might give mozilla composer a shot, it is a wysiwyg editor, but not really a replacement for frontpage as far as full functionality goes.

I dont know if you can get frontpage working under wine, I know dreamweaver will NOT work though. So dont count on that Best of luck though, html isnt that difficult Although there is a reason that businesses use frontpage and dreamweaver, it does save time, even if the code it generates at times is ugly
