Outlook Express problems

While at work I made 6 excell files.Next I went into netscape and attached them to a email to my home account. When I opened the email at home outlook express had removed the files?
This has happend on one other occassion.

Recommendations for a email client when running WIN XP on my home machine, looking to try some new ones.

Check in the OE Options under the "Security" tab and see if you have "Do not allow attachments....." unchecked....

Outlook doesn't actually remove the files! It's probably just denied you access to them for fear of presenting you with a virus.

Open Outlook Express and click on >Tools>Options>Security, Then remove the checkmark against "Do not allow attachments ...".

If you still can't access your attachments the reason may be your virus scanner settings.

[Edit] Oops ...took so long eating my dinner, I got beat to the punchline!

In outlook express is said that the files have been removed by outlook express.

Usually you can still see the attachments when you click on the paperclip, but can't open them because they are greyed out! If that's the case here the trick above should work.

[edit]darn sarnit, beaten again!
