IBM Think Pad T30 trackpoint

Hi, i have a IBM Think Pad T30 and sometime when i press any key near trackpoint i hear a sound or the cursor move anywhere, how i can to desactivate the trackpoint?

First, check out:
Control Panel -> Mouse

See if anything in there can disable the trackpoint.

Also, boot from your computer, and press F1 when you see the message "Press F1 for IBM BIOS Setup Utility". You might be able to disable the trackpoint in one of those options. (be careful!)
