XP pro hands down. newer is better, otherwise i might say 2000.

Gave XP a chance(6 mths), gave me to many problems with my consistent h/w changes.

Went back to w2k !!!!!!

2000, hands down. Newer is rarely better. And in this case, definitely not.

Very little experience with 2000 so I cannot comment much there.

Win98 is definately more stable than XP, and it is easier to override default settings and give user more control.

I like some of the belles and whistles with XP, but I gotta vote for 98.

Never ever had any problems with it from the day is came out!!
