Misc PCI controlers/ buses

Is 2.2 PCI 66mhz bus?
Can a UDMA 133 controler card run a UDMA 133HD at its max speed when plugged into a 33mhz PCI slot.

66MHz PCI buses are usually on server and high-end workstation motherboards.

I think a DMA133 controller card could theoretically run the drive at 133 MB/sec but the thing is that transfers across the IDE chain are only that fast transferring to/from the drive's cache. There are no IDE hard drives yet that can actually write to the disk iself that quickly.

Thanks nighthawk
Sounds like PCI 33 controlers can run a UDMA 133 hard drives at close to their atual speed. Now I just have to figure out if the gain of 133 over 100 UDMA is anything worth paying more for.

No its not worth paying for 133 over 100 because as Nighthawk said IDE hdd's cant read or write that fast anyway.
