set up a dns on a pc

I have two pc's running windows XP pro and have networked them but would like to use the roaming profile feature but i dont have a domain. Is there a way that i can set up one of my comps as a domain but still use it as a normal pc?

Nope, you need a domain to use true roaming profiles.

Now, what you can do is using the XP Tweak UI, you can change the path of things like your desktop, my documents and such to a share.

i have already set up the security so that i can get files off both computers without using the share folder
