im soo srry i know i sound like a newb but what does a AGP slot look like i want to know before i buy a new 3d card

Brown slot.. kinda looks like a PCI slot but it sits farther back then the PCI (black slot) from the back of the machine.

An AGP slot is above the PCI slots,and is usually brown in color,not always though.It is set back a little toward the center of the mobo from the pci slots whick are near the edge.

What is the ID of the board you have and we can tell you for sure

In this pic it's the white slot right in the middle of the board. When the motherboard is mounted in the case the AGP slot will always be the top expansion slot (right above the PCI slots).
