Yes I am planning to appear for 801 since the books for 801 from cisco or sybex are not out as of yet which book or study material would you recommend.

A group study effort is a great idea. When I self studied for CCNP exams I used the Cisco books as the Sybex books are known to have errors and were inconsistent with the exams. Another pointer for you is to not just study for the exams, anyone can pass the tests. Prepare yourselves for the exams yes but also prepare yourselves for the career you plan on taking on after the exams that is the important part. If you guys ever go on to group study for CCIE or Cisco VoIP stuff let me know !

I am currently studying for my CCNP, they just changed the syllabus, I understand VoIP and IP v6 is now heavily involved. Has anyone taken any of the new exams yet??

Leftygolf - can you advise on what books and study material did you use and how did the exam look like

did it include configuring

, IGRP, EIGRP,OSpf and ISIS ?

I doubt there will be alot on OSPF since it is not a CISCO thing but an Open Source routing algorithm.
EIGRP, IGRP are CISCO babies so I would assume they would focus on those.
