Network Printing with XP and 98SE

I have a laptop with XP Home and a small wired/wireless LAN that has two 98SE desktops. Each desktop has a printer that I would like to share on the LAN. I can get the desktops to print to the printer on the other desktop. I can't get the laptop to print to either printer. The laptop can see both desktops and their associated printers. I can't print a thing to either printer. Is it even possible to do this? The LAN is setup as a simple workgroup.
Thanks in advance.
Arjay

Browse to either printer from the laptop, right click on the printer and select install.
After that you should see a printer that is in port \\desktop1\printer (or whatever your system is called and printer shared as), then print to it.

I have done as you say but cannot print. The icons appear for the networked printers but I get an error message that says something like "The printing task cannot be completed". I think there is a rights issue between XP Home and 98SE. Something about XP unable to print to a non-secure printer.
I was wondering if there was a workaround short of upgrading the 98SE machine to XP.
Thanks.

Amyone else with an idea?

Actually... When you share a printer, I think it asks which drivers should be made available. If w98 is not chosen/na then the problem might be there...
