another ram question

So i was at the computer store looking for ram. I want some Pc 133 probably 512 maybe 256. The guy was bringing up something call double sided ram and was wondering if i had single sided or double sided. I opened my computer and say my current ram stick has cells on both sides. looking in the empty slots there are pin holes on each side of the slot and down the middle there is a litlle bum about halfway up and another about 2/3 of the way up between the middle and top.
If someone can tell me what ram this is so I know what equivient to buy that would be great.

Thanks

You definately have double sided RAM, meaning that it has memory chips on both sides of the module.

What you must remember, however, is that some older motherboards cannot use the single sided RAM. There have been threads here before about this issue.

Why don't you click on the Crucial link on this site and once there you will have the option to type in your motherboard model and it will bring up the suitable types of RAM for it. That way you will know 100% that it will work.

Crucial RAM is excellent as others will confirm too.
