POLL: Only for XP Users!
I was wondering since I am a Windows Professional user if you guys prefer the XP look that comes automatically with XP or did you switch and now use the Classic Windows look? I just felt interested to see which one is most used the so called "fisher-price look" or the "classic ugly gray look". I personally like both but I use the XP look since my computer can stand it and I think it look better than the classic look. Although I know many people and I have many friends that hate the XP look and just cant stand it. I want to see what's the score here at TechIMO. Just my guess: I think that the classic look wins here at TIMO, just a guess. Of course this is only for the Windows XP users but to make it fair I have an extra option in the Poll that its going to be "I don't use XP" just to make it fair since not all people use XP. Myself I use both Windows XP Professioanl and Linux Mandrake 9.1. Well, lets start the voting!

One of the first things I do after setting up XP is switch to "Windows Classic" theme.
EDIT - And I use a "Windows Classic style" of "Rainy Day" for the "Appearance".

Windows Classic theme for me. However I do like the new start menu compared to the old 9x way.

Well I dont leave it as it is... I apply my own theme, but in general I prefer the XP look to the classic look. Classic seems so dull and boring to me... And I havent had any problems with "eye candy" hogging too many system resources

i hate the way the xp look looks, but i also hate the classic look, so i always after installation i patch uxtheme.dll and apply a custom theme. i also hate the new start menu so i always change it back to the old style and remove everything except programs, settings, search, run, and shutdown using tweakui.

I did, however, turn off all but one of the visual styles...I kept the XP color scheme.

Once loaded it immediately switched to classic and with also the classic start menus. Was too much navagating with the XP menus.
Not sure how you come up with the "fisher price" look, To me it just looks too girly.
So classic wins my vote.
