Surround Sound problems!

I just bought some Logitech z-640 5.1 surround sound speakers to plug into my on board Soundstorm sound card. (The mobo is the A7N8X Deluxe ASUS board which supports 5.1 surround sound). I got it to work with the wizard. After about 3 days the everything works but the right surround and the right front speaker. I have no clue why but that was the case. I then proceeded to fix that problem and after a couple more days the right front and rear went out again, but this time I already did what I did to fix it last time. PLEASE help me!

(1) Make sure all the connections are secure (3 colored plugs secure and in place, and the actual speaker plugs on the sub unit in the right spots)

(2) Open the sound control panel (nVidia icon in tray/notification area), and make sure all speakers are at the same volume level

(3) Connecting to the motherboard: The green plug goes in the green hole, the orange plug goes in the orange hole, and the black plug goes into the purple hole

Hey,
See if NVSwap will help with your Center channel missing.

Also, for MP3s and such, you need to go into the Control Panel, and [x]Create Center Channel.
Most MP3s are have only 2 channels. That setting will 'create' a center channel for you.

check your soundcard software and make sure there are no wrong speaker settings there, if everything looks good then check for newer drivers

if they aren't any then removing and reinstalling the current drivers may be of help
