Whiz on Intel window

I did a google search looking for a decal or design showing Calvin whizzing on Intel. I couldn't find one so I'm designing one. I'm going to etch it in a window, and paint the lines so it's easier to see. I'm doing it freehand on a CAD program, so it won't be done until this weekend. When I get it done, I'll post it here. I'll also keep the CAD files so if anyone wants to have it done, they can take the file to their local machine shop and have them do it.

I can also do a whiz on AMD file, for all you Intel lovers

If you decide that you'de rather have it done rather than do it yourself, try koolpcmods.com

instead of painting it, you should do the following
make the plexi larger than cutout
attach it with "cheap method" (screw, bolt, glue, velcro plexi to inside of case)
cut notches in the plexi near the edge (hidden from outside view)
place high powered led's in the notches aiming towards the etch.

it gives a nice glow on the etch, (same kind of method used on the mousepads in the link)

scroll to the ohio state one to see a better example

I'm going to have green lights in my case, so I don't know if the LEDs would add anything.

did you look at the pic? contrasting color would look great or even use green so that the etch really stands out...

Pictures and CAD files

Here are pictures of both the Intel and AMD files. These are exported directly from my CAD program, so they aren't the best quality. When I actually engrave my window (in the next month or so) I'll take pictures and post them.

Intel Picture

AMD Picture

If anyone wants, here are the CAD files (zipped), they are saved in IGES format, which should usably by almost all machine shops and engravers.

AMD File

Intel File

*edit* Hopefully I fixed the links
