networking noob, zonealarm question

Ok, i have 2 systems linked with a cat-5 crossover cable. Did the Windows XP ICS wizard on both machines and all worked fine. I can browse shared folders and files between the two, so the connection is OK.
But as soon as I start ZoneAlarm on pc1 (the one connected to the internet), I can't acces the net on pc2 anymore, although I have put pc2's IP address (192.168.0.1) as trusted zone on pc1...

What am I doing wrong ??

Do you have the Trusted Zone Firewall set to high? Even with the IP entered into the trusted zone it has to be on medium firewall to allow traffic.

I tryed zone alarm a couple of years ago with dial up and win 98 ICS with 3 comp on a network switch. Never got the other comp to go on the net with ZA running. I think the answer was that ZA didn't work with ICS, but not sure.

Have cable now with the same network and ZA works great.

Goto firewall -- Advanced options.

there are 3 radio buttons to specificy what kind of connection it is. Select the one that says: "This Computer is an ICS/NAT Gateway"
