Howdy All,
Got a couple Q's regarding buying DVD Media. I've done alot of looking around and it seems as though there's alot better deals on bulk Optodisc $1.69/DVD+RW and some other no name DVD+R/RW media. Seeings I just bought a Sony DRU510A and havn't even bought media yet to try, I have no idea what would be the ticket regarding these cheaper DVD's as opposed to the big names like Sony/TDK/Memorex/Verbatim etc which do not sell in bulk and the price is around $5.99/DVD+RW. Do you get what you pay for in these instances or do the cheaper discs work just as well as the more expensive ones? I know you usually get what you pay for, but thought there may be an exception in some of these cases. I've got a sony DCR-PC9 camcorder and a IEEE Firewire connection so I'm hoping that transferring the digital video from Camcorder/PC/Editing/DVD Burner is relatively painless. Also any input on the latter would be greatly appreciated as well.
Thanks in adavance,
Max
