Have you tried to use "Setup Defaults" in the BIOS? Maybe some settings have been changed.

USB or PS/2 keyboard and mouse?

Did you bring YOUR keyboard/mouse over and test with them?

Have you tried safe mode?
It might be a driver issue with the keyb/mouse.
That happened once when I replaced ms natural keyb drivers with the correct drivers Wouldn't work anymore.

i have use defaults on bios with no luck i have also removed the battery from the mb and tried that and still cannot get the mouse or keyboard to do anything. As far as safe mode it will boot up to the safe mode screen but guess what comes up a popup that says you are in safe mode and it used for repairs. You cannot get rid of that window and will not continue beyond that point.
