Oc in' 2400+xp on K7s5a Pro

Current specs...

k7s5a pro revision 5.0, upgraded bios(current from ECS)
amd xp 2400+ cpu (2.0GHZ)(factory HSF)
300watt PSU AMD Approved

~If anyone could help me bring this baby over 1.99GHZ, I'd greatly appreciate it. I want to get the most out of this little toy.

well these boards aren't great oc'ers but about the best way to get even a slight oc is to go get the latest oc'able bios for the board over at ocworkbench.com. It allows smaller steppings of the fsb than anything ecs offers and is a good reliable bios.

Have you tried the Cheepoman BIOSes to have more options in the bios for OCing? I am running the Cheepoman now in mine and have had no problems at all.

I've also got the same board, but I use CPUFSB to raise FSB settings. Im not bold enough to change the BIOS just yet, so I used this to change it within windows.
Just one reminder, make sure your FSB and RAM timings are synchronized..
