Kids SLK-900 or SLK-947?

I'm planning on getting one of these. Which should I go with?

Also, which fan should I get to go along with it?

SLK 900 in my opinion, its already huge, and the 947 won't add any noticeable advantages over the 900. are you sure that 900 will even fit on your board? Its a huge monster i know that, the 800 was big enough, but luckily epox had a big ol' area cleared out for a monster heatsink.

What was special about the 947 again? the ability to accept a 92mm fan? not really that much difference in the ability to push air versus noise.

I suppose you could hunt around for some comparisons that websites have done on the 947, maybe im wrong about the temp difference, but hard evidence will be the true indicator of what you should get.

947 is more compatible
900 requires EXTREME bending of capacitor leads on A7N8X

they both can use 92mm fans

900 works like a dream for me...got my 1700+ JIUHB up to 2.2Ghz.

Btw...which motherboard do you have picked out? As others have mentioned...one heatsink might work better with a certain board.
