so i got this game, test drive 6, when i go to play it, it says i need a 3d video card...now i just got a gforce 4 mx 440 64mb AGP video card, why would i be gettign this error, i would sure as hell hope this card is a 3d card....or im going to be quite mad....

that is a "3d" card, and should play that fine. Look for a setup program, or go into setup on the game and see if there's an option to select the card. Also, update to the latest drivers from nvidia, and latest(9) or almost latest(8.1) directx

ok, got the 3D part set and working (atleast it says it is in directX) but now i just get illegal operation warnings...i swear im giving up totally on gaming, they never work right or freeze or crash or cause a freeze up or.......im sick of it. damn computers, i should just get an Xbox and set it up so i can email and lightly surf the web onit..alot less headache...

You cant email or surf the web on the Xbox, all you can do is play on XBox Live wich is a multiplayer survice, I have it (Kicks ass).

Try reinstalling the game.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest Detonator graphics driver from nVidia.com? Sounds like you have a simple driver-related issue.
