GNOME or KDE?

Which is better? Or I should say, user friendly.

I really like the Gnome2 desktop (can't say I care too much for Ximian's take on it though) but in all truthfulness there's no denying that KDE is easier for a Windows user to get used to.

I prefer Gnome over KDE. Jusdt a better desktop IMO. Then again, I haven't used KDE since 3.0.1 or something, and I'm a minimalist (former Fluxbox user). Look at my screenshot, and you'll see how "cluttered" things are.

I am a fan of KDE as well. Only because that is what I am used to using.

BTW Prae - Do you have enough IRC channels open?

I'm using Ximian Gnome2. I dig it.

I liked KDE a lot too (being a WinKid). Gnome2 seems to be a little easier to use now, but that might be Ximian's doing.

/me wonders if praetorian realizes that he can do the exact same thing with KDE

I perfer KDE myself. I find it more customizeable in the ways that I like.
