Nope. I myself use an A7N8X-DX and am considering the Z560's, and if you encounter any problems blame it on faulty hardware, not compatibility.

You still need a soundcard, but theirs one built onto your motherboard. Just hook the plugs from the speakers in the labled jacks on the back of your PC, and your good to go.

yes the sound card built onto the motherboard actually preforms about the same as an Creative Audigy. I'm using the onboard sound and its great

Well.... I noticed a difference when I put my Audigy back in from the onboard. Things just seemed clearer and more defined. It may be just be, but if I have anything laying around that remotely might improve the quality of something, in it goes.

As always..you guys rock..
Thanks.

I kinda thought i didnt a soundcard, cause i've read on Techimo that Soundstorm was sufficient, i just needed to be sure..

Plus, i'm trying to slim down on the cost and having capable onboard sound is a plus indeed!

If i find a job, i'll get an Audigy 2..but for now, Soundstorm'll do just fine.

Thanks again fellas!

I have a pair of the Logitech Z560's, big and crisp sound for a not so high of price.
