Hibernate Problems

This is very weird and I've never had this problem before.I always use hibernate to shut down my computers.Well in the past week I update every computer for the latest bug.As a result I had to reboot each machine. After each reboot I lost the ability to use certain portions of Windows. For example:When the final screen booted up I no longer had the use of the task bar.I had to hit ctrl-alt-del to get to the task menu. Also,I would go into control panel and was unable to change any settings whats so ever. Basically, the whole thing was messed up.Virtually useless. This has got to be a bug as a result of downloading latest patch.Anyone else have anything close to this?

I think its not wrong and nothing will go wrong if you could reinstall your window XP again. Thats what i did really. The whole turn exactly as it is 2 years ago since I first bought my Win XP cd.
Other people that I have ever heard of, they also suffers the same problem as u do.
I've never updated my XP, so far mine is okay. I'd rather download anything about new portions for XP at http://www.download.com , to see if theres anything new there. Its your rights anyway if u want to update your window for particular purpose.

Hibernating needs at least 300 MB (im not sure, but something like that) free of space in your HDD in order to do it.
