I tried it out and AFAIK there's no reason not to use it. All it is is a skinned version of IE. I never noticed any problems with spyware but I'd be careful about it. They had some decent skins most of wich I liked better than anything i can get on mozilla or oera. My niece thought it was the coolest thing in the world.

Have been using Neoplanet again for the past few months but would like to get a better popup stopper but nothing works...the NeoPlanet blocker works but requires manual response every time whereas the newer blockers do their work automatically in the background.
Also, have made NeoPlanet 5.2 available here since the main site no longer offers it.

I do have Neoplanet's software on CD. For me, the only difference does it makes was its skins. It's great

You can get your fav.skin (hope these are working)

I used NeoPlanet for a while too - great for the eye candy with all those skins and custom sounds etc.

I have it on CD, so I'll probably be installing it on my sons PC at Xmas.

....and no problems with spyware that I know of.

Tried KillAd, no luck.
Are you running NeoPlanet 5.2 on XP home?
Tried it with Neo Popup both on and off and KillAd was running yet showed no activity yet I was getting hit with popups.

if you need a popup blocker, the newest google toolbar has a built in popup blocker that so far has worked great.
