Logitech Z-640 Subwoofer problem
Well not the subwoofer, but the connector to the right rear speaker is all of a sudden not working. It isnt the speaker, i tested it on a different connector and it worked. It was working before too. What do i do?

Bad amp. Call up Logitech and get an RMA after:
1) Spending 1/2 hour navigating through the confusing automated menu.
2) Waiting 1/2 hour for an available dude to talk to.
3) Spending and hour talking to a complete MORON who has no idea what he's doing and on top of that, has a thick Chinese accent and can't speak english for his life.
4) Wait 6 days for them to mail you a new system after you send in your sub and it gets there.

This is the number one reason I like to purchase locally.
Look in your manual for the speakers and see if there is a service outlet near you for Logitech.
Call Logitech and see if you can get an RMA so you can deal with the local service outlet.
I worked on a Gateway PC that had a bad colour gun in the monitor. They said that a new monitor was on the way and all I had to do was put the old monitor in the box that the new monitor will arrive in and send it with the delivery courier. 4 days later the courier showed up and new monitor was in place. That was the best RMA I have ever experienced.
Cheers!

RMA is the return number thing they give you right? Forgive my ignorance because i too usually prefer to deal with things like this locally.

If through your description of the problem they deam you warrent the RMA, (Return number thingy) they will give you one.
Does your manual have service shops listed in the troubleshooting section or somewhere in the manual?
Cheers!

And if you try to fix it without being a qualified service location and tech, you will screwup your warantee. Don't mess with it.
Cheers!
