Microfsoft Word Spacing problems

Hi,

I'm having ling spacing problems with MS Word XP. When I try to double space, it actualy quadruples it for some reason. I had other problems as well, such as centimeters instead of inches as margins, but I fixed that when I uninstalled and reinstalled office. I've tried deleting the registries, before I reinstalled but i still have the same problem.

Maybe I forgot to delete some registries before i reinstalled or something, but can someone help me with this. Thanks.

How are you selecing your double spacing?

Are you pushing enter twice or are you going through the format menus?

Format> Paragraph

then select your spacing perferences.
