I have figured out the problem.
First- asus for some reason has a bios update on the site that has a different extension than *.rom It"s a *.awd file or something like that. Figuring that the site was right and that you need to rename the file to do an update I installed it and that was the problem.
Second- I pulled out my second ram chip from the board and rebooted, the comp told me that the cmos was corrupt and needed to be reflashed.on the Website there are the proper bios updates but keep in mind that they are *. rom files nothing else (as far as I know) unless there is another updater that uses that file extension mentioned earlier.
If you are using 2 ram chips that may be the work around. If you are using just one try that but do not boot without replacing the chip. The chip was fine when I put it back in so it didnt burn it out.
If that doesnt work try pulling the graphics card the cpu and the ram at the same time then pull the cmos battery (make sure that the ac is pulled from power supply and you have grounded yourself before doing all this).
Whatever you do, do not boot the comp without the cpu and the ram plugged in because then the motherboard will definetly be cooked.
Another thing to check is plug the cd roms ide cable on the board boot up then hit the reset switch if the light blinks for a second the bios is trying to talk to other peripherals.
