XP won't run Mozilla / NAV2003

Hi

I installed XP Pro onto my Win2000 machine as a new folder on the same NTFS partition. I subsequently manually deleted the old Win2000 (c:\winnt) directory. As normal I had to reinstall most of my software. Let me also mention that I installed all the available updates for Windows.

However, following reinstallation of my software I just can't get some of my software to load up. It installs fine, but it will not load. Namely this happens with Mozilla 1.1, Netscape (latest version) and Norton Antivirus 2003.
I have no idea what could be wrong! Please help, and thanks

I have tried deleting and uninstalling them and then reinstalling but that doesn't help.

Dejan

I'd , write zero's to the drive, format and do a clean install of XP. I had similiar problems overwriting 98 on one computer. Re-installed w/ all software , including System works 2003 and all went fine then. Good luck !

Thats not really an option, I have so much stuff on my harddrive that I want to keep. Do you think I could just install Windows 2000 back on and have things working again? It just doesn't make sense why these programs refuse to run on XP and other big ones do, like Websphere.

I forgot to mention that previously I had a 10 gig linux partition which I deleted using Partition Magic 8 and integrated into my main partition. Then I installed XP - this could actually be the source of problems.

Anyway, what I'm doing now is creating a 5 gig partition at the front of the drive, and format that and install XP onto that. Hopefully that works.
