Linux Router?

I am looking for a linux router distro to build a router that will connect to a cisco router. Is there any thing that has the same feel as the Cisco IOS? this is mostly for learning purposes I don't really need firewall capability

If you want the feel of a Cisco router, I would offer 2 choices : a real Cisco router, or an emulator. There is an emulator on the CD that comes with the Cisco Academy book 1 (or is it book 2 ? )
